Women with Children Program

Hi, welcome to Ann's House from the Ruth Matthews Bourger Women with Children Program. I'm Katherine Pohlidal, the Director of the program and today we're going to show you a little bit of our house so that you could get a sense of how we live here.

Over here, you'll see our living room space, which is a shared community space for all of our moms who reside in this program. Over here, we have our dining room area where all of our families gather for all of their meals. And behind here we have our children's play area in our home. All of our children can gather and play during the day and evenings while they reside in the home with their moms.

If you follow me over here, you'll see that our kitchens are fully equipped spaces that all of our families share where they have meals prepared and share meals together. All of our houses are fully equipped also with bathroom spaces, and laundry facilities that all of our families utilize yearlong.

We know that studying is a big priority so all of our houses are fully equipped with study spaces including printers, printer supplies, as well as WiFi and [inaudible]. All of our families are provided with bedrooms that are fully furnished that include beds, desks, as well as storage and closets for your personal items as well as your clothing.
